Who are we?
We are a non-profit community organisation which aims to provide good quality, well designed & appropriate toys for children to play, explore and discover. The library is run by its librarian, committee members and volunteers.

How many toys can you borrow?
You can borrow a maximum of 6 toys per hire.
How long can you keep them?
We have a 14 day borrowing period. If you cannot return the toys at this time you will need to pay a renewal fee for another 14 days. At the end of this renewal period the toys must be returned to the library or a fine will be issued.
What if I cannot return my toy on the due date?
Please let us know by email mackenzietoylibrary@gmail.com if you cannot return your toys on the due date. You can either renew for one further 14 day period or a committee member may be able to assist you in returning the toys at an alternate time.
What happens if you lose a piece of a toy?
If you lose a piece and you are not able to find it please let the librarian know when you return the toy. You may be charged a replacement fee of around $5.00 or if the missing piece causes the toy to be incomplete, you may need to pay a replacement cost.
What happens if your child breaks or loses a toy?
Please let the librarian know of the damage when you return the toy. You may be charged a fee to help with the repair or a full replacement cost. Every toy has a different cost which is listed on the item hire.
How to become a member?
Become a member by clicking join now and complete the online form. Alternatively, you can collect a paper form to complete from the library during opening hours.
How much does it cost to become a member?
Full membership: $30 per family
Memberships are renewed annually on the date of joining.
Casual Membership: $10 (includes 10 hires).
How to pay your membership fee?
